Moving away from standard board movement, tile placement, or direct tile combat, this card-driven strategy game focuses on engine building, hand management, and tactical timing. The primary gameplay objective revolves around royal succession: players manage personal decks of agricultural and territory cards to generate gold, back one of several unique Princess candidates, and build up succession points to crown their chosen heir before rival noble houses take over.

The primary mechanical hurdle stems from navigating a dynamic market and optimizing card chaining mechanics. Unlike traditional deck builders where cards are immediately played for cash, players must manage "chaining icons" to link action cards together and build an active domain. Once a Princess is backed, players can shift gears to archive valuable territory cards into their Princess's Domain to score succession points.
